Shabbat Meals at the Artists’ Colony Inn

Shabbat at the Artists’ Colony Inn is observed with quiet respect and care, in keeping with the character of the Old City of Safed. From Friday evening through Saturday night, the rhythm of the inn slows, creating a peaceful and unhurried atmosphere.

For guests who wish, Shabbat meals can be arranged in advance. They are kosher meals prepared in our home kitchen and served at our family table in a warm, welcoming Shabbat environment.

Shabbat meals are not included in the room rate and are available by prior arrangement only. Availability may vary, and we ask guests to contact us ahead of time to confirm details.

The cost of the meals is ₪100 per person, per meal for guests staying at the Artists’ Colony Inn, and ₪200 per person, per meal for guests staying elsewhere. Prices apply per meal (Friday night dinner or Shabbat lunch).

The Shabbat table at the inn is simple, respectful, and shared. Guests are welcome to experience Shabbat in a way that feels comfortable to them, whether through quiet presence, conversation, or rest.
