Give a soldier a night in Tzfat

This is how it works: you send what you can, in your own currency, directly to us. We use it to cover the cost of a night at the inn and give that night, free of charge, to a soldier or someone who needs a break.
No platform, no middleman, no fees.
My name is Shlomo, and together with my wife Leah we run the Artists' Colony Inn, a small boutique guesthouse in Tzfat, one of the oldest and most spiritually significant cities in the world.
Since the beginning of the war we have opened our doors to soldiers who needed a break, before anyone asked us to, before any grants existed. For over a year, with the support of an organization called Sword2Shekel, exhausted men and women came to Tzfat, stayed at the inn, and left a little more whole than when they arrived.
We are continuing that work and now we are asking you to be a part of it.
A night starts at 708 shekels, roughly $245.
Your part can be as small as $1
About Shlomo and Leah
We were both born in Brazil and moved to Canada in our twenties looking for a more stable life. Over the years we put down roots, raised a family, and built something we were proud of. In 2020 we moved to Israel, and in 2021 we settled in Tzfat, where most of our children and grandchildren live. When the opportunity came to run the Artists' Colony Inn, it felt like the natural next step, a place to welcome others to the city that had welcomed us.

The Artists' Colony Inn has been welcoming guests in Tzfat for over 15 years.
Leah and Shlomo have been its innkeepers since July 2023.
This campaign is run directly by the innkeepers. All proceeds go toward sponsored nights for soldiers and others in need.
Thank you.
Every contribution, whatever the amount, gives a real person a much needed rest. If this moves you, share it with someone who might feel the same.
